We want this site to work for everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or magnification.

What we aim for

We design against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA: readable contrast for body text, type that scales without breaking the layout, meaningful headings, and links that make sense out of context.

Known limits

Some type is set in lighter tones for visual reasons and falls below AA contrast: the LYTEco mark and its descriptor line, and the secondary text in the footer — location, the legal disclaimer, and the links to these pages. All of that information is also available in the body of the site or by email, and we are working toward bringing the footer to AA.
